- I am a teacher/missionary that loves tropical weather and once wished I was a native Californian (the current state of the state has changed my mind). My house has a tropical theme. I have a patio table in my dining room and an airbed in my bedroom. My kitchen is very rarely used. I collect butterflies and lighthouses. I am getting better at growing plants. I have a mix of real greens and silks. I grew up in a Christian home. But didn't know what salvation was until I turned 28—cried big tears of joy when I realized I didn't have to be "good" to get to heaven, that salvation was a free gift and Jesus was my friend and savior. That was the best news I ever heard!
